PTA Meeting: The next PTA meeting is Tuesday, February 14 at 6:30 p.m. in the Southwood library.

Monday Munchies: On Mondays, snacks are available for purchase, with items ranging from .25 to $1.00. Students may purchase by day, or they may purchase a $5 punchcard. When it comes to the punchcards, the PTA will only hold them for the full day kindergarten class; the students in the remaining classes are expected to keep track of their own cards. There is also a free popcorn day, which will be the first or second Friday of each month.

eScrip Program: The Southwood PTA has signed up for the eScrip program; our group ID# is 8566764. Visit www.escrip.com for more information, or to register your Safeway Club Card, and others if you would like. If you are already signed up with eScrip, you now have the renew every year. Please make sure to renew with eScrip in order to continue your contributions to the Southwood Elementary PTA.

Printer Ink Cartridge Recycling: The Southwood PTA is now collecting used, ready to throw away ink cartridges from printers. The PTA will be recycling them for cash. Place the cartridge(s) in a baggie marked "PTA" and send it in with your child.
